General Information
1. Dates: Please turn your completed questionnaire in by Sunday, May 23rd. Please put them in the envelope and return to the church office or to Mary Ann Gregg. You will receive via mail your SS information by mid June. Once you receive the information, you are free to start blessing your SS! We will have a Big Reveal held in Fellowship Hall after the morning service on Sunday, August 29th. At that time, you can bring your SS her last gift. Please make every effort to attend this function. It is important to have you attend so you can meet your SS and the SS who had you can meet you.
2. Focus: The SS ministry is a ministry that focuses on blessing another sister in Christ by being her “secret” prayer warrior. Commit yourself to praying for your SS regularly!
3. Ministry: SS is an outreach network at Clairemont Covenant to help provide support and encouragement to a fellow Christian woman. It is about giving, not receiving. The term “secret sister” has much more meaning than you realize; in fact, these women are our spiritual sisters.
And as it is in physical families, so it is in our church family. We have a responsibility to care for, pray for, and seek blessings for our sisters. The whole idea is for you to be a blessing,
which opens doors for you to be blessed. As you pray for and love your SS please remember to keep things your SS shares with you private.
